Let's do savory today. Getting sugar shock. Got these mixed up with hush puppies once when I was a kid. I do like hush puppies (tho old Joy of Cooking snootily says they understand why they were thrown to the dogs), but not when I thought they were salmon patties. Croquettes? Isn't that a game you play in the backyard?
Salmon Patties
1 can salmon (large)
1 egg
1 1/2 T. flour
2 1/2 T. meal*
salt & pepper
*If you have to ask, you probably won't like them anyway.
