Mom's Recipes 8

Speaking of hush puppies. This was written on a small sheet of ruled paper. Something after Hush Puppies has been torn off. Not sure if it's Mother's writing, especially considering the parentheses and misspelling of "baking." Plain Cake follows on the same page. Think I'll include both. Both recipes are so basic, I wonder if MaMaw dictated them to Mother. I doubt if Mother would think it necessary to say "sweet" milk in a cake recipe. Notice also how "cream" is used the same way it is in the pecan pie recipe. I put question marks where page was torn or I couldn't decipher the writing. This one shows its age.
